| Our playgroup is held 9-11 am each Wednesday during school term. All caregivers including Mums, Dads and Grandparents are welcome with their 0-6 year olds. The cost of insurance is $28 per year, which is provided through the Playgroup Association of WA. This also includes association membership, which provides many benefits including newsletters, discounts on craft items, playgroup support and a yearly fabulous coordinated session for the kids. At Playgroup we go on two excursions each term, have art and craft sessions, cooking days and visits from local businesses for active play. Each week we ask you to please bring a healthy snack and drink for your child. Tea and coffee are provided free of charge. This year we are applying for a Lotterywest grant. If this is successful the funds will be used to upgrade the outdoor play area. We hope to put in more permanent play equipment, shade sails, paint the fences bright colours and provide outdoor seating for the carers and children. Playgroup is a fun morning out for parents and children. It's a great way to meet more local people and for your children to make friends with their future school buddies. |
